My nightstand is no longer just mine

It began with a faint scratching sound from within my nightstand—not a mouse, but the rhythmic click-clack of needles no larger than pine needles. When I risked a peeked, I didn't find dust; I found a bustling fairy apothecary with glass bottles, tiny bundles of dried leaves, and silver wire bent into the most exquisite shapes.

I am merely the human "sidekick" to the Mistress of this tiny workshop. Together, we’ve translated her ancient text, The Pixie’s Guide to Creative Alchemy, into a collection for fiber artists in our human world.
